Yabmae 2220hydraulic losing prime

when below 40 , not freezing the 3pt, and loader will not raise ,,. ,,. i have had the powershift refuse to move below freezing ,,. usually helps to vent bleed the loader controls and allow a tablespoon of air out .. any thoughts ,.

Possible foaming from the wrong oil or maybe water in the system. Neither of which work well with oil in hydraulics. Possible low oil level so the pump cavitates on start up.

I had the same problem with my Jubilee when I used the cheap generic hydraulic fluid.
I went to the New Holland dealer and bought the good stuff.

i think geok hit the nail on the head ,,. p-o had milk shake oil in there , i simply changed oil and filter , but occasssional sub freezing the hydrustat would noyt even pik up ,,.. gonna have to figure out where the screen is .. now . ,,. Thanks a bunch Guys . any more good ideas ?

Yanmars I am familiar with, the screen is under the left floor board held in with 3 small bolts.

this is what the last one I took out of one looked like.
