Snow pushing tractor.

-17 Celsius with wind chill of around -26 according to
weather guessers. Cleaning up the snow from the last two
days snow and wind. Case IH 7110 magnum with 9 foot
snow push. Works great.

That does look like it would work great. Looks like the ground is not yet frozen which can make things a little challenging.

Yes it can be. Sometimes end up with gravel and grass in the snow pile. Just finishing up lunch and heading out to finish off pile 2 out of 4 so far.

The right equipment makes any job easier for sure. Shutting done the snow pushing job for the day. Last two pictures are looking south east off our deck.

Great photos. I love seeing all the snow pics while I'm at home and warm. Never have snow in my area so am somewhat jealous. But not enough to come do it for you :)

When we moved here all I had to move snow was a Cub Cadet with a homemade plow, hand operated. I learned to push as far as I could. Started out with enough room to turn around and park extra cars. By winter's end barely able to open doors. Now almost 50 years later have two loaders and another tractor with a 3 point blade.Much better! joe

You need some good equipment to move snow around. I have an open station skid steer that works good to but very cold to operate. Need to push the snow far away the first time for sure.

It helps some here by filling sloughs and dugouts for cattle watering which we havent had the last few years. And there are some people that will tell you if there are sloughs and dugouts with water around it can increase the chance of rain.

If you put those mounds together you could add a sky lift and really make some money!!

That sure beats a shovel and thats about all I've got working at present. Both my normal snow blower and blade tractors are in a state of repair that is taking longer than anticipated. Plus winter came earlier than expected. I still have the retired Cockshutt 40 way in the back of the shed that I could mount the snow blower on but it has not run in a few years. The 730 Case diesel and 7 foot dozer blade would also work but it has no block heater so starting it would be a bit of a challenge in this cold. Only +4F this morning.

(quoted from post at 08:01:18 11/09/22) Yikes rusty6. Whats a shovel ????? Lol
Good exercise and helps keep me warm in the cold weather. But seriouslly I need to get those tractors working. This photo will show I have not changed much in decades. "Still got the shovel".

Just a cloud bank 55 50 Ron. Left over clouds from the weather front that gave us the snow and cold. The Rocky Mountains are west of us about an hour and a half. Thanks.
