Case 580 super L backhoe

I am dealing on a 580SL Case backhoe and was wondering If these are as good as the rest Deere/ Cat Etc Thanks Mike

The L series case backhoe is very good,and easy to work on.I worked at a case dealership for 8 years so im speaking from experience, good luck!

As I had been a field service tech for a number of years on a whole herd of them things, I can say they are quite reliable and tenacious.

They will still blow an occasional hose, wear out ungreased bushings, and may even need a cylinder repacked once in a great while, but they are a very good hoe.

The local constrution company I work for has 18 Case backhoes. They give the normal trouble such as blowing hoses, repacking a cylinder the usual wear items.

Case hands down.
The Deere's are much better but still bulky,
The cats are over rated and a nightmare to work on,
The case with it's tilt front end makes repairs/service a breeze.
Case is still the leader,and everybody else is still trying to catch up!
Oh and yes we have all three were I work.

CASE HANDS DOWN!!!! I'VE RUN EQUIPMENT FROM ALL MAKES. I'D TAKE THE CASE ANY TIME.CATS TO HEAVY TO WORK IN MUDDY JOBS [BOTTOM OUT AFTER A COUPLE OF PASSES].CASE IS LIGHT AND WALLOWS RIGHT ON.WITH THAT BE SAID,ITS THERE ONLY DOWN FALL. OUR 580 SLIDES AROUND ON STABILIZERS,NOT REALLY A BIG DEAL.JD ARE GOOD MACHINES BUT THE CONTROLS ARE BAKWARDS ON THE HOE. I HEARD THEY HAVE A KIT TO CHANGE TO CAT/CASE CONTROLS. HAVE FUN DIGGING.

I have a 580 Super L, My problem is after I run it for about 10 minutes, it stops moving. The emergency brake lite is on. If I wait about 10 minutes, it starts working again. I unplugged relay #one and the lite goes out. it runs for about 15 minutes and the same thing still happens. I spent hours trying to find anything about the problem in the manual, but could not find anything about it. I've checked the brake linkage and emergency cable, and found no problems.
Any help would be apricated.
