Hello all, I'm searching for a used/working early style pump for my tractor. Anyone know of one for sale please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Ford cars and trucks (and Studebakers) from the same era used that same Eaton pump. You can get the automotive version for far cheaper than the tractor type at
your local auto parts store and use your old brackets, fittings and reservoir. Just make sure the shaft length is the same so your pulleys align!

That's good news, have one more question. My reservoir sits horizontal, on the back side of the pump, they clamp together with a metal band. It's got a single return nipple on the back, do you think that pump is compatible with that? I see a lot of the pumps with top mounted reservoirs, not the case for my set up. I guess mine was used in the earlier years of the 841 model. Appreciate your help, Thank You

Howdy, help I need, this has turned into quite the search for the same pump. I'm not sure how to E Mail you directly, sorry. All new to the forum world as well as being the proud owner of this old iron. Let me know how I can contact you and go from there. Thank You

Here is a picture of the pump, more info the better I figure

YIKES! Youve got a later, gear-driven pump from the 2000-4000 series tractors modified with a pulley to fit your earlier''01'' series tractor.

Honestly I have no idea what I have, I've heard Eaton, Thompsoms and now it might be a cob Mongrel of some sort, lol. I do have this part# from a previous post a month ago, CONN3A674H. I took a picture of the blow up print, I will find and post that pic again because it is a perfect match to what I have.

In Classic view, in the bottom right hand corner of el6147 reply, you will see Send Email. Click on that.

No, youre right- its a 1957 thru early 1960 version. Rebuild it, or get another type (Eaton TRW/Thompson) to replace it. Rebuilding might be easier because the
bracketry you have now will fit that pump, but maybe not a different style.
p.s. rehash

I have tried twice to send you my E mail, I don't believe it worked. Not sure what else I can do to contact you?
