Gleaner R62 fault codes

We have a fault code actu282 , owners manual says contact dealer, dealer says we dont do Cummins. Cummins fault codes on line say simply pumping element. New fuel filter and cleaned inline filter. Would appreciate any suggestions, thanks, Fritz
 
Not sure if you have ever been on NewAgTalk but I would suggest you post this on the Machinery Talk page there, see the link. There is also a forum that goes by ..The Combine Forum.. I have never been on there except to view the occasional topic from there someone placed a link to in an AgTalk post. They have a Gleaner topic section there, you will just have to web search that forum, it will pop right up.

Both the manual and the dealer are correct. When that combine was new AGCO dealers were certified by Cummins to work on their engines but over time that has changed. Now if you need engine service for a Cummins-powered AGCO machine you need to go to a Cummins shop since the dealerships are no longer certified to do this.

When you say cleaned inline filter are you referring to the intake screen in the bottom of the fuel tank or something else? I didn't think these combines had what most people refer to as an inline filter. I know on a '97-vintage R62 there is a spin-on fuel filter element down low on the left side of the frame that is easy to overlook.
