Case CX100 power problems

Hi there. im new to the forums but im in need of some advice

We have a 2000 (i think) CaseIH CX100 with the 16speed and fwa. 2060 hrs.
It has the Perkins 1004.40T diesel in it. But it has no power. when you bring the machine under load it is as though there are no governors and the engine just begins loosing rpm. no effort, no smoke. The boost diaphragm was ruptured, but it has been replaced and pressure is felt coming out of the air line from the turbo at the boost diaphragm. No improvement, possibly worse. Turbo was examined, turbine is tight and pushes enough boost to visibly see the wastegate mechanism move a little when revved up. Both fuel filters have been replaced, lift pump seems in proper condition and fuel lines and delivery all seem clear. We inspected the shutoff solenoid and it seems like it is correct. as said, there is never any black smoke. It almost seems like the issue is in the injector pump, but the tractor starts and runs well. Has anyone else had this issue? I wanna try everything i can before we have to buy a $2000 injector pump. Its a Lucas pump, if that helps. thanks for any help y'all can give.

My understanding is the governor is in the pump, and it sure sounds like the governor isn't working.

Why do you have to buy a pump? Send the one you have out for service. Most likely it can be repaired for much less than $2000.

I meant rebuilt or swapped. i havent done much research yet about pumps just the skimming i had done seemed like getting a remanned one was gonna be about $1700.
We had the pump redone on our JD 3010D and we remembered it being about that...so thats kinda what i assumed. it just seems like the pump wont open up any under
load. engine just slows down, no turbo screaming and less smoke.

I suppose the last thing Ill try is dump a mother load of injector cleaner in it and see if that does anything unless someone knows if something Im missing. Just not how we was wanting to spend money right now. Hopefully you are right and it will cost less than I think

I assume the air filters are clean. There
are two of them. Check the fuses as there
may be something you are overlooking. S
eems like low hours for injector pump p
roblems.

Also...sounds like it's in limp mode. Maybe disconnect battery to reset. It might be something simple like that.

Yes both air filters have been cleaned. And both the spin on and in-line fuel filters have been replaced with quality filters. I will try the battery disconnect, Ive read there is a timing advance on the injection pump (at least thats my understanding) for cold weather but I cant find any wires. . . Anyone know about that? Is it electric or mechanical and could it be the issue?

Thanks for the replies so far. Ive never seen or heard of anything quite like this before.

you should post this question separately about the injection pump on here to Dieseltech. He is on here and rebuilds them. If anyone knows...he does.
