No KC this morning, must be having a Sunday lie in. Cannot do Crib pictures, we do not have them over here so here is one from around 1890 of our house and the ones that once stood in our yard.

Those are great photos Majorman.
The snow reminds me of something.
My Mama, who was born in London in 1923, said said she did not know snow was white til she came to the states in 1945.
The coal burning in London made it a grey color.

Morgans is the name of the public house chain, they were the brewers and owned a large number of the pubs in Norfolk. The other big chain was Bullards. Both got taken over in the 1960's by the Watney-Mann group which sold beer that was compared to gnats' urine by most of the customers. Trade went down and the pubs were sold off. We bought this one in 1982 and turned it into a home.

We do not grow ear corn like you do, our crops are mainly wheat, barley and canola. The maize is cut and chopped for silage.

Wheat and barley were stored in sack in the granary or on the floor in heaps in the barn. Later on, some farms had hessian silos in the barn, or some were made of wood. Outside metal storage bins were for the big boys.

Well, not really. Am running a small fever. Mostly staying in bed today....like yesterday.

Thanks for posting some extra pics! I'll probably take tonight off also.

No problem. Ann and I had our latest jab on Thursday, slept all Friday, bit better on
Saturday and Sunday and as near normal as we can be today. I have a puncture to repair
on Nuffy's front wheel this morning so will probably be asleep all afternoon :0)
