External hydraulic questions

So my so has purchased a Massey 165 gas tractor to use in the hay fields this year. It has an old loader on it which we will be removing. The tractor has a single hydraulic outlet on it. We were wondering if there was a good way to use the front pump and make another set of outlets so he could use the front pump and be able to run a small round baler like a Hesston 530 or 540? Or anything else that needs dual hydraulics

Do you have a brand and model number for the front pump? You can probably track it's output IF you can find a model number. They usually put out between 10 and 15 gpm, sometimes more, to run an FEL. What is the demand in gpm for what you want to run?

I will add does it have its own reservoir? In some cases a section of tube of the loader frame was used as a reservoir. Also it is possible that the same spool valve for the loader could also be used to operate the additional remotes you are adding to the rear.
Edit: Adding a photo or two of the pump and loader would be helpful.

Your pump should be fine for such an application. If you leave the loader frame on (thinking the frame is the reservoir for the front pump) you just need to put remote couplers where the loader hoses are currently. You could add hoses to the rear of the tractor, if you chose, for the remotes.

If you remove the loader frame you will need to add a reservoir of at least equivalent size and should have at least a suction screen between the new reservoir and the pump. As well as re-plumb the valve.

Previous post about the loader.

Honestly I just didnt know if it was a good use of the pump and control. I dont think the old loader is worth much so I thought if I could rob some parts and make something useful it might be worth it
