Good looking hay and equipment. Nice level fields. I plan to square bale about 400 bales of 2nd and 3rd cut grass hay here in s.w. Pa tomorrow. 3010D and 336.

I baled the last of my fourth cutting a week ago, we have gotten about 0.5" of rain since then, and with the nice mild weather and sunshine, i'm confident the alfalfa has sufficient regrowth to survive the first frost. This second-year field averaged 20 small squares per acre for fourth cutting.

in southwest missouri,we are baling brown residue.lack of rain. cornstalks milo whatever a cow could eat is getting baled. supposed to rain today as was about 4 other times in last month. some wells died up not looking good here.
seeing your green hay is refreshing

Nice picture. I only once made dry hay in October. I have cut hay in a snow storm in October, just a day before a predicted nice patch of weather near the end of October, and baled that hay and wrapped it for silage bales.
