If I remember correctly he got to busy for this forum. Unfortunately people used to pick on him also. Hes s hard working guy is all Im going to say.

he got tired of the b.s. here he said . yes he is always working i give him credit for. basically what i was doing all my life ... do your day job then go home and do the farm jobs. good for him. now i only do my farm jobs.
 
I don't know why he left here because I didn't read every post of his. But he moved over to Newagtalk and ran himself off over there with stupid childish posts of a 5 year old. He was his own worst enemy.

Sv and I text several times a week, he is working too much as usual...... And I think he got tired of the foolishness on here
 
I know he is different, square peg in a round hole, and got picked on a lot for it. After a time he sniped back at folks.

I guess that is all totally his fault entirely, according to some.

I enjoyed his posts and many pictures and just was nice to see something different.

If his comments were a bit exadurated so be it, we could have sat back and just smiled and enjoyed it anyhow.

But, some needed to pick on him all the time.

And so this forum becomes more bland, more dull, less interesting.

But, Im sure it was entirely his fault, because he spoke out eventually.

Eighty percent of people, will most likely fit very well together. Ten percent are a bit more to the right than some of the eighty will tolerate, and the other ten percent are a bit to far to the left. Why people are so intolerant of those of us that don't fit in to their liking, is bewildering to me. Of course, it is only a few of the eighty percent who seem to have to pick on the outliers. Personally, I feel that it is a poor reflection on the 'bullies', who feel the need to be critical of others.

Then there is the misinterpretation of the printed word. For example, I questioned a statement that someone made and he got MAD. WOW! I wanted info and he took it as a criticism. I changed how I interact here after that episode.
 
I liked him and his attitude about things in general. His politics and mine are very much alike. I enjoyed his posts of the area. I miss that part of the country. Would like to live in about 4-6 states. SD,WY,ID, maybe MT or ND though the 2 later ones have become pretty left for me lately.
 
I heard SV and Barney rode off into the Sunset together.
SV on his horse and Barney rode his MC with a sidecar..
SV found a new girlfriend.
She has a new JD tractor with a heated cab.
Barney was going to sign up for unemployment. His job was defunded.
Happy trails to both..
 
I've been here over 20 years, I've seen em come I've seen em go, but YT somehow goes on. I enjoy helping my fellow old tractor lovers and do the best I can. I have no idea where SV is ?? I wouldn't be surprised if some get sick n tired of the politics and blame game and hearing some of the braggers and gotta always be right gents and choose to bow out, but thats THEIR choice none of ours. I figure TO EACH THEIR OWN WITH ALL DUE RESPECT and wish EVERYONE here and SV the best.

TF..... I don't think he is the worst one here. And yet those folks haven't been banned. Heck I've been called worse than that. Lol
 
Green envy, he left that site because someone from here ( maybe you??) Went on there and called him out. Then posted on here that he was making a fool of himself over there...... I think he just got tired of a bunch of folks........
 

I'll admit I was getting rather tired of seeing Barney Fife's picture show up here every other day.
But beyond that, I have no thoughts on the matter.

He may have been locked out of his account by admin tho.

This is an tractor related forum (most of the time), and touted as "The busiest antique tractor parts site on the internet with thousands of pages of information".
Thus admin may have elected to keep most of SV's posts visable.

He doesn't come across to me as the type that would admit to being locked out or banned. He would rather promote the narrative that his departure was on his terms.

Isn't it funny how we haven't had a single argument about load securement since he left? At least none that I can recall.

With thousands upon thousands of posts, the admin probably didn't remove any that weren't already removed. It's just not practical to go in and erase someone like that.

Why are we talking about a grumpy old buzzard that isn't here anymore when there are so many grumpy old buzzards still here we could back stab and flame? Of course, I wouldn't be on that list but I'm just sayin' ......
