international 666 with 1066 cab

Hey everyone, I have an international 1066 cab with all the mounting hardware. I was originally going to put it on a 1066 but plans have changed for the time being. My question is, would it be possible to mount the 1066 cab to a 666? I know the 1066 has a larger frame. So I wasnt sure if it was possible without modifying the cab itself. Has anyone does this?

I haven't done it but I used to work in r and d for Hiniker cabs. Designed many mounts over the years. Take the filler plates out of the cab then take the fenders off tractor and let the cab down over tractor with overhead hoist. Does 666 have pto lever sticking out the back? Take that off too. Now you can see how to build your mounts. When done with mounts get some cardboard and a scissors and start making some filler plates. Then transfer cardboard to tin. Remember, anything is possible if you have a torch and a welder.

No need to modify the cab, but you will need to customize the mounting brackets.

I agree with the method of hanging the cab in place over the tractor and figuring out what it will take.
