Dumb websites

I was reading an article from Lawntroop

https://www.lawntroop.com/most-common-problems-with-kubota-bx2200/

Under the first problem they commented

Check for any other problems before assuming that you need a new carburetor.

Diesel engines dont have carburetors

It gets worse as you read

Never heard of this website before

Wow! They told us so many things that are not applicable or just wrong but didn't tell us the one thing that should have been first...Disengage blades and shut off engine before reaching under deck.

Sounds like someone struggling with the English language, attempting to rewrite the owner's manual, and a degree in selecting one's pronouns!

Advertising clickbait. The point is not to provide any useful information, but rather to get you to load their page so they can serve up ads. And by posting their link here, you just bumped up their page rank, so it's even more likely Google and Bing will suggest it when somebody does a web search on Kubota tractors.

On the other hand, that's a great tip on how to reset your thermostat. I'm sure I'll use it the next time my garden tractor won't start.

Your exactly right Mark.

Sometimes I can't resist the ones posing as an article on yahoo news. They usually are set up to be a "slide" per page.
They are very good at timing when you will hit the "next slide" bar and just when you click it they convert the bar to an advertisement link.
