Lot of beans ran around here but mine are a good week form being ready. I stared on corn a few weeks back abd it was in the 24% range so i stoped and stsrted back in monday at it was 17.

We finished beans today here in northwest Iowa. Dont take long with a 780 JD and a 40 ft. head. 8 hours to do 160 acres. Start corn tomorrow. Beans did anywhere from 50 to 65 bu. an acre . A bit below average! Roy

No rain forecasted for the next 7 days in TH.
That may help dry corn and beans.

Farmers are harvesting almost non-stop.
Many Semis going past my house.

They dropped the CRP prices here so we rented moms 220 acres to the neighbor. We limed it, he fertilized it and planted 7 row beans. 1st thing that has been planted on it in 40 years. No rain in July and most of August, beans are tall and filled out well. They won't be ready for another 2 to 3 weeks. These hybreds get more amazing every year. I havn't seen any beans out here but plenty of corn is in the bin.
