Is there a lot of sheetmetal to be put on this tractor to make it look factory after cab is removed?

If it is like the 1466 you will need fenders and steps.

Also some small wiring changes for lights as I recall.

If it had a factory cab you will need an open station platform, platform extensions, fenders and battery trays and covers.

Yes 86 seies cabs were a good cab.Would be a lot of work to put an 86 series cab on a 66 series tractor if that is what your thinking.Better off making your 1566 an open station tractor and then putting a ROPS/canopy on it.Or sell the 1566 and then buy an 86 series tractor.

If the tractor is a black stripe the mounts for 86 series cab should be there.

Plus relocate the seat support that holds auxiliary valves, relief valve, and unloading valve. The fuel tank is different as well.

What kind of cab?

If it's a Hiniker or Year A Round everything you need is there besides fenders.
