MF 32 loader repair

Hi. I have a MF 32 loader on my FE35 and one of the lift cyl's is leaking. Never done a seal replacement before. Watched some youtube, seamed easy enough. Of course, the cyl's on this loader are different than all the youtube examples. I can't figure out how to a: get the shaft out and b: get the seals out. I will try to post pictures. Any advice would be appreciated!

The snap ring groove is just catching on the seal rings the groove of the bore in the end nut or cap. Oil or grease up the snap ring groove. Place the cap in the vise so the ram is down towards the floor and the hex is on top of the vise jaws. Hopefully the vise is high enough the ram will not be on the floor. Hopefully you have a large brass drift but if not a short large shaft or big bolt would work in a pinch. You are going to give the end of the ram a good smack with at least a 2 lbs hammer. If you do not have someone to catch the ram and the other end is off the floor quite a bit place a bucket there to catch it with some boards and rags in it.

I have used a layer of electrical tape and some grease to ease seals past snap ring grooves, keyways, etc. The tape doesn't seem to add enough diameter to matter and the seal slides over it and the groove with no damage.
