What it is all about.

My youngest restored his last pedal tractor for 4H this year. He has done 11 of them. The 1st picture is of him with his 1st restoration. The second is of the last restoration, one that he did for a neighbor. The third photo, is of the neighbor's son on that pedal tractor after we delivered it Friday night. After we left, I told my son to be proud of the smile he put on that young boy's face. The last photo, is of him with his restorations (except the pedal combine) that he wanted as a senior photo.

When Pa bought his new 700 Case in 1958 Dealer gave him a 700 pedal tractor. I was 5 at the time. I ran the wheels off that thing, literally. So Pa bought a new drive tire and then my younger brother ran that one down to nothing and broke the steering wheel. So I then fixed it up and repainted it for the nephews who then ran it to death. My oldest nephew wound up with it for his kids but peddles are broke and steering don't work. I told him He should fix it up for his kids and repaint it again. He said he wants to keep it all original. I told him,,that ship has sailed.
