After looking at Jim's enlargement, I would say it was a 40W. The W was the only one with that axle housing to tractor configuration and with axle shaft for sliding hub to set wheel track.
 
After some more coffee, cancel my previous post/guess. I call it a 420 W. Just remembered, the 40W had the bull gear reduction outboard with shaft but the 420 had the reduction gears inboard, straight back, T series had them at 45 degree angle to centerline.
 
X2. Looks like a later style steel wheel center for a farmall M or an H to me.

I didn't realize that deere made an axle that a farmall wheel would fit on. But it sure appears so in this picture.
 
The outer rims, I can believe that. The A had different axles, and there was no way to change the whole rear wheel over to the other tractor. As in, move the entire wheel from the A over to the H.
Rims yes, wheel no.
