Every two or so years a local charity has a number of resin sculptures cast, then painted by local artists. They are then positioned around the city and county for people to find. Money is then collected and finally the results are sold off at auction, raising more money for the designated charity. We have had dragons, hares and hippopotamuses over the past few years, just a light-hearted way to raise funds and give people a bit of a laugh.
This dragon is at Pulls Ferry in Norwich, one of the ancient entrances to Norwich Cathedral from the river.
