Hello All, I have an old Case 811-B that will start but not easily hold an idle. I would like to put a new carburetor on as the current one is broken and looks like it has been rebuilt quite a few times.

I have the carb off, but I can't find a part number anywhere. Does anyone know where I can see the original part number? I don't have a manual or a parts diagram.

Thank you!

Adam

Can you tell what brand the carb is? Do you have a picture of it? In order to post a pic, you will need about 5 posts, or ask the administrators for permission to post a pic. It's a spam protection thing. steve

Looks like it could be a Marvel carb, either a TSX-782 or TSX-794.
A manual would really help.

Try Roberts carburator repair in Spencer Iowa. A
friend had all his John Deere gasser 20 series done
by him. These tractors run better than they did new,
And I ran alot of gas thru the 10 and 20 series back
40 and 50 yrs ago. And they are more effieceint too.
I have a Case DC carb that has a worn out butterfly
that i am going to send out to them.

I found a small copper plate on the side of the carb with a model number: TSX616. I can't seem to find a cost-effective aftermarket replacement. Seems like there are lots of similar carbs for $50-$70. I wonder if there is a similar part number that might work.
