Threaded Flex Coupling

They are all over eBay. I got my last set from Shorenutz. But Steve's suggestion is good - you may have to buy one without a keyway and thread it yourself. Are they left-hand threads? That might be even harder. They come in various sizes, which relates to the power they are able to transfer. The L-070 and 075 are very common on small power applications. I see the L-090 a lot in farm stores, probably for driving hydraulic pumps. steve

So you're not trying to match half of an existing coupler, but need to create a new coupler between a 3/8 keyed shaft, and a 1/2 inch NF threaded shaft? Buy a 3/8 coupler, one side keyed, drill the other side out to 29/64ths. and tap to 1/2 NF. That would be a simple operation for a machine shop if you provide the part.
