Straighten ground rod?

I have this old ground rod that I must have bought years ago for electric fence, that I want to repurpose to upgrade a lightening rod ground from an old piece of pipe. It has a significant bend in it. The only way that I can think of to hold it is giant vise grips or a very big vise, but I have neither. Ideas?

Pull the hitch on your truck and slide
the bar into the socket. Park the rear
tractor tire on top of it to hold it.

There are several places on most any tractor that you can use to straighten a rod.

For example, over the front end tube, under the tie rod, slide in to where the bend is, pull down.

Pull the 3pt arms together with a bungee, thread the rod through both holes, slide the bar in to the bend, pull down.

All you need to find is two solid points, one to put the bar over, one to hook the bar under, and gravity.

I've used holes in the rear wheel casting on tractor or hevy implement like a plow frame or disk frame or other places where there is a hole similar size. Also can put a pipe in the vise squeeze it tight then put rod in the pipe. Will need to pull sideways to hold pipe well.

I use the trailer hitch on my truck to straighten things. I remove the hitch and shove pipes into the receiver and straighten them. I have
straightened steel fence post by the thousands.
