Waiting in line to pull yesterday--Changed alot of things--Drove back on the trailer when finished pulling--THATS GOOD

That looks like a lot of puling power right there! Looks like there is even room for another motor when you decide to move up a class. Good luck in your pulling adventure and be sure to keep us YTers updated!

Whatcha got there? Looks like a fun puller. I like Olivers but my guess is that the Oliver part ends in front of the radiator. It is always good when you can leave the track on your own power. I was at the pull at the Iowa State Fair last Wednesday and several needed a tow tractor to go back to the pits. A couple will be spending a quite a bit to get them put back together. Good luck pulling! And have fun!

Went to the thunder by the river event near Wisner NE. They had two tracks, two pull out tractors a telehandler and multiple pullers brought their own UTE withy them. They could not keep up. 190+ hook each night. There was a lot of carnage so being able to drive back on the trailer is good. At least three units had to have one end lifted to get it off the tracks. How was your track? This one was squirrelly and they had a tough time on the lighter classes keeping them glued down on the track.

I bought it on Big Iron Auctions in March--They call them econo rods or retro rods. I've been working on it off and on since. It has a Cockshutt 40 rear end with a Chevy 454 engine and a 3 speed auto. behind it. I narrowed the front end a foot-Raised the cage 8 in.-the seat 7 in-moved the steering ahead-moved the hand throttle-changed the weight bkts.-built the Olly front end-and blasted and painted the headers-reversed the rear hubs-took me 3 days to get the left one off-broke my store bought puller so I made a super heavy duty one-with that and my inch impact I moved it 1/2 in. the second day and was very happy-fought it tell the end-put my 23.1/34s on and the list goes on.

My Eddie Rickenbacker leather helmet!!!

Thanks--I rained almost all weekend but we got to pull in the mud Sun--pulled hard and couldn.t get my speed up-The engine is a 454 raised to 496 ci. and it just has a Holley 650 carb-was the rules out in Indiana-people tell me I need a least a 850-So If you want to help sponsor I see in the parts catalog they are about $900!!!!!!!!!!---Thanks ADB--Did you get some rain??

When I put the bigger tires on there was no room between the tire and the cage-but the cage has sheet steel inside of it that qualifies as a fender---Thanks

You better put your earplugs in when you wind that thing up! We got about 1.5 inches last week. Very much needed. We were/are DRY. We've definitely lost the top end off our yields but still have potential for a decent crop. And Cargill running a +$1 basis is letting us make a pretty good living this year. It is sure easier to worry about dry weather when I don't have my backside on the line like several years ago. How are things looking in your neck of the woods?

The first years run were steam powered--Did ya know that??

Don't want to brag, but we've been getting good rains all season. Two weeks ago we got a 3.5 in a -day soaker and another 1 in. this weekend. Please refresh my memory--I know you are South of me but what town? Don't know if you know that tractor puller from Washington but I talked to him a couple of weeks ago and he said his crops were about done--SAD---

I heard that you guys were faring better than some. I think there is a good strip in northeast Iowa, into northern Illinois and Wisconsin. Hope you've avoided the wind storms this year. We are in Mahaska County north of Oskaloosa. I've heard it gets dryer down around Washington. We are dry but could be worse, could be better.
