I enjoy your posts about eastern Kansas. I will be traveling there next week. I am going down western Missouri then across to Newton.Iwould like some general information about the area. I would like to discuss this with you. Email should be open. Thanks.

We have a son in Springfield, MO. We traveled down there a couple weeks ago. Crops are really suffering in that part of the country. We are dry here in SE Iowa but not like down there. Saw corn being chopped to keep the cows fed.

Hey you were some dry, but greener than us, in west Central Missouri. We went on vaca, up through to Des Moines then across to Dyersville, then to Wisconsin dells, over to Racine and saw the little picket line at CIh
Then skirted Chicago and across to Louisiana Mo, crossed the river and through ne mo to Columbia and home.
Never saw any hurt crops to speak of. GG

Go see big brutus at mineral ks.it is awsome also a little rail road museum just east of it real nice people and very interesting

I saw so much corn it was getting old, however I'm hurt for all the livestock facilities that once were, great family farmsteads, we saw a lot of ribstone silos setting vacant, a few blue ones.
I bet we didn't see 200 cows from start to finish the trip! GG Wes
