Today it is hot again and brings to mind our days in the sun on our Australian trips. One of our many great memories, the Iced Coffee. Sampled on our way to visit more Fordson Tractors, (of course).
Keeping Cool

Hi Majorman

I have been seeing the high to extreme temps there in England. Living in Australia inland a bit we see these temps sometimes, we usually have low humidity which makes it bearable you just rearrange your outdoor work hours and get friendly with the aircon in the afternoon. How is the humidity over there? How does it compare to when you have been out here?

We are getting Australian weather. :0). High temperatures, low humidity and a strong, hot wind. Some days we have cloud cover, low humidity and very hot. In my cool office at the moment it is 77 degrees F. In 2014, I was helping a friend bring in his wheat harvest with a 1936 Sunshine Stripper Header and a Fordson Power Major in 37 degrees C and quite happy with the heat. I was driving the tractor and then sacking up the grain from the grain bin in the field. That was in Robinvale, Victoria.

Thanks Majorman

Appreciate the update. Just a side note Holden have ceased car production and are only supporting vehicles with parts. There are now no cars built in Australia.
