Loaded for a mower show or more likely going into town to mow Young Daughter's yard.

I mowed my lawn yesterday and a good part of the time I was guessing where to drive. I could usually see the wheel tracks from the last pass in the crunchy grass. Around the buildings and bins where the little rain we have gotten had run off the roof was the only place the grass was growing. The rest just had random growth that needed evened up. And I really needed a shower when I got done.
 
This time of year I am mowing the weeds not the grass. We had a thunder storm go through a few days ago, just enough rain to get the weeds to go crazy.

Last time I mowed was at least 3 weeks ago, and about 3 weeks had passed before that. The mower was spewing out more dust from our gravel road than cut grass. Even in the backyard, away from the road.
 
Her yard was mostly dust too. Basically topped some weeds sticking up. Her's is a little greener than mine but they did get a shower in town 46 days ago according to the weather dude.

That happened to me a few weeks ago. First time in 60+ years of mowing lawn that I actually lost my place!

We got good rain over the weekend and it's growing good now. I mowed it yesterday and had no problem staying on track.
 
Grass is growing again in W. Ky. due to some recent rains after weeks of hot and dry weather. Corn got hurt, beans look good and tobacco is very good but it likes hot and dry.
 
Opposite here had to disengage my blades in the low
spots in my yard not to kill the engine going through a
water puddle.didnt have a choice if I would have
waited any longer I would have to use the tractor with
the bush hog. Its rained just about every day for the
last three weeks here
