If you had your choice of any tractor show in the US, which would it be and why?

Not counting because it's close, I'm looking for the best show!

Because there ,they use the tractors and implements .
I like that kind of show .

Southeast Old Time Threashers Reunion In Denton NC 1,000s of tractors many demonstrations ;ie plowing with steam ans Altman Taylor Tractors , 1,000s of hit and miss engine Entire Village re created on the grounds, train, steam sawmills, bluegrass bands, Gospel groups, food, tractor parades tractor pulls, steam shovel, steam crane, too much to list. Always over the 4th of july, hotter than the dickens sp humid you have to drink the air. fun for all

I can't say that I've been to any big one's outside the Great Lakes region, but Oakley Michigan is a pretty good show. They'll get 2000 tractors. Pulls on several tracks way in to the night, field demos, buildings full of running engines and machines. Plenty of steam running the saw mill and thresher.

I'd like to experience Rollag sometime. From what I've seen and heard, that's a good show. There are those who wouldn't miss Portland Indiana for their own mother's funeral but I've never been there either.

Check out the Antique Engine and Tractor Association in Geneseo, Ill. Website had tons of pictures AE-TA.Com Plenty of field demonstrations along with threshing, corn shelling, sawmill, etc. 2nd weekend after Labor Day.

Of my limited experience I would not miss Half Century of Progress for anything. I love a working show.
I will make it to Rollag and Florida Flywheelers some day.

The only ones I have went to has been the one at Lindsay TX and Commanche TX. Used to have one at Stith TX. Went to one at Hickory Creek MO couple years ago.

Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag, MN every Labor Day weekend. It is huge.

Only western Ohio where I am from and mostly eastern Indiana all tho Ihave been to the Deere expo in Iowa and to Essex Canada. My favorite is Winimak In that old 9 is famiular with then Portland In. Some others I would like to see as well but distance, and age with health I cannot do any more.
