Rollover ploughing with a twist

My dirt wouldnt react to that very well. Combined operations dont work well here. Need to plow in fall, field cultivate in spring, and have a good seedbed.

Then, I dont have many straight level fields, I think the whole deal would become a mess trying to do the angles and curves.

I am troubled by the turning around, that is a lot of weight on the rear axle with the plow up, and that is what, 5 times back and forth each half round? Has to be a better way on that. Way too much time and compaction going on with that.

But, very cool and innovative, where it works that has to be a slick setup! Took some thought to get that packer catches and rotation to work out like it does!

We have been using that style of set up over here for at least 40 years. At one time a local company made a seeder unit to go on the furrow press so you ploughed and sowed all in one operation. Just the ploughs and the tractors have got larger.

One plough manufacturer made a front mounted furrow press arm so relieving the sideways strain on the plough.
