Kubota 3 point parts

Is there a reason some of the pins on my Kubota 3 point hitch use these rings to hold them in place? Can I replace those rings with torsion clips? I ask as some of the rings are getting worn thru use.

I find that for whatever clip you choose, if you have the room, a good washer helps spread out the side load. The thing about the round rings, is that they are less apt to get pulled off by a branch getting caught on them (than an R clip or even a torsion clip).

Kubota likes those for use on their lawnmowers. They are soft steel and bend out of shape in a hurry.

I replace them with key rings. They last longer than OEM.

Kubota uses this type in applications where the normal spring clips might be dislodged.

The circular clips do not come out.

Wrong,, one they are not cheap cost more than the common used slide in clip, KUBOTA uses them because they do not get pulled out as easy
