Can anybody please give me some advice as to how to remove the cab from a Massey Ferguson 4253? I have an oil hydraulic leak under the cab that appears to be coming from a possible broken bolt. I can access it without removing the cab. Thanks in advance
Dave

Hello Pico welcome to YT! I am sure you do not want to
hear unbolt, unscrew, unplug, unclip and snip anything
that is holding it on. I would suggest doing a web
search for a Massey Ferguson 4253 service manual.
Then pick either a downloadable or actual paper
manual and purchase it. Looks like they are $30 - $50.
Money well spent so you do not mess something up in
the process. Beware if you go looking for a free
downloadable manual I have seen a few times were
they download a bunch of bugs to your computer.
Most that you pay a fee to are okay. It is good to web
search a ..review.. of the one you choose. Most times
you will see warnings of bad ones by doing that. Good
luck!

I am going on 2nd hand information. It s not actually my tractor and I haven t physically looked at it yet, but I think the access panel has already been removed and the broken bolt still can t be accessed. I am not sure of the actual layout of components but do plan to look at it soon. Was just trying to plan ahead in case cab has to be removed to fix the problem
