Update on 275 magnum blowing fuses

Update on my 275 case magnum blowing fuses on the flashers. I talked to the service manager at case about my problems blowing fuses on the flasher switch. He s seen this before and suggested trying changing out the wiring harness I m steering column, turns out this was causing the fuse to blow out, shorting out the flashers and turn signals! $850 for harness and $45 for new flasher switch, my own labor excluding!!Problem solved. Thanks to all for giving me ideas and possible solutions! Great forum!!

Typical dealer shop. Start throwing new parts at it but in this case it was the right thing to do. I'm surprised he didn't tell you to bring it in so they could change harness and charge you 14 hours labor.

Hi FB,
They wanted me to bring it in but being that the tractor didnt have flashers, it wouldve been too dangerous!
