John Deere Swather - Disengaging Power Hubs

Hello,
I am looking to pull a John Deere 2320 Swather home by using the hitch that is mounted to the back of the swather (pulling the swather backwards with a truck). I have already disengaged the Power Hubs by turing the dimple cap backwards and the wheels turn freely. I need to pull it 40 miles. I will travel at 20miles/hr. My question: At this distance/speed do I have to worry about the Hubs overheating. The bearings in the hubs? Any other concerns?
Thank you

If they are full of good, clean oil I would expect you could tow it all day at 20 MPH.

You could stop halfway and have a feel, but I''ll bet they will hardly be warm to the touch.

The bearings in the hub are not a problem (with proper oil level). The dimple cap can be a problem. The dimple is pushing on the internal drive shaft which is not turning. I have heard of the dimple cap wearing through and the shaft reengaging causing the wheel to lock up.

Just towed it home this morning. Machine made it fine. Hubs felt just slightly warm but not anything of concern. I appreciate the replies.
