Dieseltech, we haven't seen pics of your rides lately, but if you have 1800 miles on already, you probably don't have time. what did you do to the 4020, can't believe you left it stock. Where are you tractor riding in MN. Good luck on your adventures.
 
Im not good at remembering to get pictures, need to try harder at that. The JD 4020 Powershift toy is still under construction, but using it as is. Have been to Custer SD five days ride, Wisconsin six days ride, drove to Rockville two days bridge ride and back. Drove it to Winamac show Wednesday, JD will pull the camper home Saturday evening. Heading to Illinois Bi-County ride next Thursday, then two more Wisconsin rides in August. The Minnesota ride is at Preston in September. And you are right, it aint stock as JD built it! Will try and post some pictures soon.
 
Dieseltech, ever thought about visiting the Fly Wheeler's show in South Haven? It's the weekend after Labor Day, plenty of camping available. I think they don't do their tractor ride thru downtown anymore, but they do parade them around the show grounds. Tractor pulls too, and garden tractor pulls also. Just thought I'd toss it out there as it seems it might be closer than some of the other rides you've mentioned.

The 560 has a small turbo, and since it weighs about the same as the stripped-down JD 4020 Powershift they both are about the same on fuel use at 11-12 MPG. The lighter Ford 6000 turbo diesel uses half the fuel the JD and 560 use, but I prefer the JD trans over the Select-O-Speed Ford.
 
Saw your 4020 on a YouTube by Dirt, Grain and Steel. He was showing the tractors at a tractor/steam show. He remarked that it was a 4020 power shift and that the tractor had been on 1800 miles of rides this year. It would be interesting to see all the modifications that Dieseltech has made to that tractor.
