With stands on wheels an rolling front half of tractor away ...what keeps it together.....what keeps rails an rear part of motor together....stand is bolted to rails an rails arnt bolted to clutch housing ( ta)housing....whats holding rear of motor up....thanks dewy

If the tractor has a plate between the flywheel and the motor, as the motor is moving away put a couple of the bolts back in the holes of the plate and the frame rails so it supports the rear of the engine on both sides.
 
You need a jack and blocks under the rear section of the tractor to hold it up and the jack to line things up going back together.
 
good question. i use an overhead hoist on rollers i built and i am holding the engine up with a chain. i just slide the hoist ahead. i have never used stands. pretty sure the front mounts would be under a lot of pressure with out something holding it up.
