I fixed the front end on terramite.
Used 4 washers to lower new part of the spindle 3/4 of an inch so I can use part of the spindle that was not used.
I reamered where the tie rod ends go in in spindle, then made a shim. Tie rods are not moving like before.
My work comes with a lifetime warranty.
As long as I alive I'll fix it for free.

This is better than when I bought it 10 years ago.

No JB weld was used ever.

Should good up to 5 mph. That's as fast as it goes.

George. I like your lifetime warranty disclaimer. Im also pleased you stuck to your guns and fixed it right. Great job. Wingnut

I don't think the DIY rental place I got this from ever greased the machine.
I lifted the front wheels off the ground and greased the spindles so grease filled all around the spindle..
This backhoe was left outside.
That will never happen at my place..

A Terramite is one of the finest Mini backhoes ever built. The first one was designed and built many years ago in a backyard garage in Cross Lanes WV. Thousands were built and sold worldwide, then the owners got old and sold out and the new owners dropped the ball. Don't know if someone will revive them or not.
