A total SWAG but by looking at her stance (posture) the mother may be with child again. It stands as though the father is hard working because for
that era the family is dressed well and are kept clean. Also all have shoes which not a lot of folks had. And a nice washing machine to boot. Wingnut

4 kids one on the way a washing machine they were rich. We had shoes in the winter for school when home we had old shoes with holes and wore bread bags inside of them. My
granny told of going to the creek in winter looking for fresh cow pies to warm her bare feet. LOL
