More haying

My mom and kids helped rake to day. When mom and dad were first married mom mowed and dump raked with a john deere 40 newidea mower and an IH 9ft dump rake. I said this is going to be a little different this one is 36ft.

With a wheel rake why would you use the dump rake. Yes it is wider and slower as you have to dump each rake full at just the right time to get a windrow you can bale.

I use the wheel rake to open the field makes dump raking easier. I hate the wheel rake when I can afford a different rake it is going to the iron yard.
