i know nothing about 3pt.system ... i only know 2pt fast hitch stuff...questions are what is standard top link length on bush hogs...how far are 3pt arms to there sockets from tractor.[an where to measure off tractor}reason for asking is i got some quick hitch 3pt prongs same as the ones on this web site an it just seems 2 miles long...drive shaft is stretched out there an top link measures 32 to 33inches,,cat 1 at tractor supply are 16in an wont ajust out that far...they had a 20in.cat 2...would that adjust that far..it was big hole,,so i didnt try it an then thought as i was driven home,, they probably had bushings for top link cause my top link attachment on tractor is 3/4 sm. hole.....bush hog is about 15in off back tires...thanks in advance...dewy

Those 2 point conversion prongs are often too long/longer than normal. So,you are either going to shorten the prongs a few inches,or extend the driveline.Your bush hog should have the top mast adjustable front to back. Or some guys will just use a short (1/4)'log chain' as a top link to allow the rear of the hog to float a bit.If you simply must use a rigid top link and cant find a longer one, just cut in the middle and weld in a chunk of pipe to get your additional length

Dewy, you can measure by going from the center of the ball to the rear axle. Try to keep the tape measure level That will give your answer.I hope you have a true 3 point tractor close by to compare. Also, you could get some cat one to two bushings,or,cut off the balls and weld on some cat one(3/4) balls
