Land Pride mower deck

07:47:51

I posted this in implement alley and got no response,so
My neighbor has a new Land Pride 25-72 finish mower. The lynch pin on one of the wheel brackets came loose and he backed over it ruining the wheel. I put it back together for him and the mower makes a loud scraping sound when the PTO is engaged. It looks ok underneath and the knives are not bent. I can disconnect the PTO and turn the belt by hand and feel no resistance and hear no scraping noise. Any guesses??? Thanks, Ellis

Could the tip of a blade be hitting the shroud? Wont touch when turned by hand but when the PTO has it up to speed the blade stretches just enough to hit the shroud or a close bracket.

What fixerupper said. The wheel got pushed into the deck and bent it. The blade only hits it at high rpm. Mark.
