I have a Satoh Bull S630 with a Mitsubishi KE130 engine. Question is why a 4 speed PTO at rated engine RPM of 2500 the PTO speeds are 555, 774,1025 and 1320. So 540, 750, 1000 and 1300 nominal PTO RPM. Any known 750 or 1300 rpm attachments?

y Kubota is 540 on low and 858 on high. The 858 is for the mower deck. Some Yanmars have 540, 1000, and 1:1 to spin the same speed as the engine. No idea why.

Think its intended for the roto tillers, had a Yanmar with 540,750,1000 used the 750 with tiler and with finish mower sometimes depending on conditions. In light cutting situation I use the 1000 PTO at about 1/2 throttle on my David Brown 885.

Like some others said, different
implements different pto speeds.

We have a Beaver III that we use for
grain auger work. It's nice to put pto in
2nd gear and run engine slower, save a
little fuel.

One use where they come in handy is a 3 point seed or fertilize spreader, kick it up to a higher
speed and the spreader works better and work the engine less.

(quoted from post at 13:14:16 06/12/22) Is it an option to throttle back for better fuel economy on low power applications?
es. I built a pto generator for a guy a few years back that would make 60 hz at 1300 rpm. He had a 31 horse tractor and needed 14 to run the alternator.
