Every Amish farm around here has a propane tank and a diesel generator humming 24/7. So much for doing everything the old ways. It's just a shtick that sells high priced outdoor furniture and sheds.

Seriously, what might the cost per mile or cost per day be to buy and keep a trained horse over the life of a horse?
