beautiful truck, International KB series built only in 1947,48,49.

looks a little odd to me without a headboard but each truck has a different purpose

i have many great memories of riding in grandpas 1946 K6 truck hauling grain or nuts, the 250 cubic inch straight six just purring along

The International KB was the truck of choice for mounting a corn sheller on. That 6 cylinder engine would just set and run all day long and never complain.

Beautiful truck!
I've always loved the look of the KB series. I once bought a KB-7 with the idea of getting it running and drivable. Sadly, that never happened and I eventually ended up selling it. I did make money on it, though.
A friend of mine has a KB-8. I drove it in a few parades for him years ago. Unfortunately, that one is now also settling into the ground. The guy had a bunch of health issues and ended up parking it and ignoring it. He wants to sell it now, but so far efforts to get it running have been unsuccessful.

Choose a long stroke straight six if you want to have torque for work. A short stroke V-8 if you want to run fast and show off !
