Anybody have dealings go bad with this company?
I ordered a replacement hub kit from them for my mower cart. It showed up the next day. Box was a little crushed on one end but I thought nothing of it. It's a wheel hub after all.
Well, the inner bearing had been damaged in shipment so I tried calling them. The person that handled online order issues was not in and would not be in until later. Ok fine I submitted my issue through their online contact form.
Later that day someone emailed me back wanting to know the order number. Well, I had included the order number in my contact message, but I gave them benefit of the doubt and sent them the number again. Apparently the order number on the invoice is not the order number in their system because they kept telling me it was invalid. They looked up my order, under a completely different number of course.
The person I was dealing with said they would open a case with FedEX. That's it. They won't replace the damaged bearing until they get paid on the FedEX claim. In the meantime I'm sitting here with a machine that can't be moved for lack of a hub.
Fine. I go to Advance Auto and buy a new inner bearing on my own dime. Same one as they sent. LM501379.
Turns out they sent the WRONG inner bearing in the first place! It's for a completely different cone in a completely different hub. The correct bearing is a JL69349.
Now Southwest Wheel has gone silent.
