What to expect regarding propane summer fill pricing?

I know everything is crazy so why would propane be any different. Has anyone talked with their supplier regarding summer fill pricing? Here in NE Indiana I paid $1.44/gal last year.

I still have sufficient prebuy for the next year but did inquire about price today.

$2.29 as of today in SE IN.

I asked about summer fill a couple weeks ago. The company was not sure there would be a summer fill program. If you have never heard of summer fill typically it is the lowest price of the year probably through deals between the local supplier and their wholesaler. Plus, the usage is probably the least therefore the lowest price. Couple weeks ago in Southeast Iowa LP was $1.91 a gallon. Many years the price at this time is around $1.00 to $1.20.

My supplier sent out their 2022-2023 contract and their
prepaid price is $1.94/gallon. However, they put some
print in contract that theyve never done before. In their
contact they write that if conditions get extreme, they
can void the contract and charge whatever they want.

My question is this: We all know it wont happen under
the present regime, but if crude were to suddenly drop to
$20/barrel (hey, lets run with it for a second), would they
charge me less than $1.94 a gallon? You know the
answer.

Closed at 2.35 in May, for winter 2023. Prepay in full for 700 gallons.
Last winter, 1.75. I thought propane was a waste gas from refineries!
See it burning off on eternal flames at refineries 24/7. STL/Wood River area.

$1.65/GAL last winter in South Central Wis, I expect $2.00/gal minimum this year. Probably should call and
request a summer fill NOW. Only used 650 gal last year.
