Tomato farms

Bought a cub yesterday, running, just
to get the rotary hoes! Hard to find
them. Had to get a few local
pictures,Oneonta, Al has lots of tomato
farms.

Picture does nothing for the view! Pretty good size mountain for Alabama!

Interesting pictures. What is going on with the cub's clutch? All I see are the two brakes.

Thanks.I thought it might be modified or something like a hand clutch. Those rotary hoes look pretty good.

I got the idea of using plastic when I go to Florida.

I see it used in Alabama and Georgia.

The guys around here fight every year to see who can pick the first tomato.

One guy resorted to covering the plants on cold nights just to be the first to pick. I think he started picking tomatoes in late January or early February.

My dad and his long time friend did the same thing. Bragging rights.....they were both great gardeners and supplied the community with the produce. I like fried green tomatoes, dad could not stand for me picking them before they were ripe.

My kind of guy . Buy the tractor for the implement than sell tractor for more than whole purchase price. I used to enjoy buying and selling that stuff.

Grandpa Love, try Agri Supply for the rotary hoe. None in Alabama, but a few stores in Georgia.
