I don't know where else you want the bucket. Hoes like that always had a very rugged place there for the bucket to ride.
 
Wonder how many owners used the boom to pull the engine from the truck? Looks like a handy setup. Gerrit

I get that. I was just saying for the purpose of trying to identify what kind of truck it was.
 
As the truck engine was only to move it between jobs it may have lasted a long time, not many engines changes.

My dad had the same crane set up as a dragline on a WWII White Half Track chassis.

OK, I see. It was mainly the side of the hood that ID'd it for me. Our Fire Dept. had one for a tanker.
