275 case magnum hydraulic question

I have a hydraulic issue on my case 275 magnum 2008 year that maybe someone on this form can help me resolve. Tractor has four remotes, whenever I have an implement hydraulically hooked, one of the remotes when in the lowered position as an example, my sprayer boom in lowest position, will migrate upwards . This happened yesterday when Using my disc with hydraulic wings, they suddenly raised up. I end up leaving the remotes in the float position which works but is very annoying. Any ideas on this? Thanks in advance for suggestions!

You might have better luck asking this question on the
AgTalk forum.

My best guess is it is related to the end of row
programmable function, but it has been quite a while
since I have run a tractor like that so I dont really
remember how it works.

You in no way need to apologize, I will myself apologize that if I gave you an indication that your question was not worthy of being asked here, I am sorry! It is not that we cannot be troubled by you asking questions on an antique tractor board about more modern machinery that is in no way the issue. Your question is far more tractor related then some of the other crapo that is run through this page. My intention and hopefully I can speak for the other poster who replied as well, was to lead you to a place where there are posters who are more knowledgeable on the subject and the equipment you posted about. I also read that forum and if you take much time to read what is there you will see that many posters there are true farmers posting about there everyday machinery problems. Many of the posts there are about hydraulics and fairly complex systems that include electronic controls. Also I do not know exact numbers but I would not be surprised if the viewing number there is not 3, 5 or even 10 times what it is here. I just clicked the ..Active post.. button there and one thread posted there about the effects of seed singlelation in relation to metering in a planter has nearly 30,000 views in 2 days. There are never viewing numbers like that here. My sole purpose of suggesting you post there was to HELP you solve your problem and NOT to push you off. Hope this was clear and thanks for posting, I am certain you will have a better response over there. If you have been a poster there and had some sort of issue I apologize for this suggestion, but there is no way for me to know that.

Milk. Please do no apologize. Ive noticed a more than normal usage of jokes and what I see as entries not related to tractors period. Yes it wouldnt
hurt to place your post in the Case forum with no problem but also place in this forum as a backup if you dont get a response. Again that is my
opinion and my observation of the Tractor Talk forum. Wingnut

I am going to suppose that you may have a ground connection or boken wire problem causing your booms to act in such a manner. My sprayer does something similar when I fold one boom in the other will swing out as the other comes in. Yet if I reverse the lever on the tractor the boom willl then com in to set in the rack for transport. It's kind of a pain though I live with it. Hoping I can find a self propelled on I can afford.

My thoughts echo with used red MN. Just trying to help you get the help you need.

The YT grouches are most helpful on machines that limit electricity to starting and lights. Anything more than that is quite frivolous.

Are the remotes electrically controlled or manually with a cable/lever? If it's electric, then probably you have a wire/ground
issue. If it's not... you have a nightmare. Probably a damaged/worn/leaking spool or shuttle valve issues.

(quoted from post at 09:19:44 05/22/22) Okay, sorry I thought that this forum was open for all questions!Again, my apologies!

Don't misinterpret, "You'll stand a much better chance of getting a good answer at another forum," to mean, "You are not allowed to post that here!"

This forum is "Yesterday's Tractors" so the interest and expertise here is more in line with tractors made prior to 1985-ish.

A 275 Magnum is more of a "Today's Tractor" and requires a lot more expertise than your typical Farmall M or John Deere G.

You can post it here but there are likely forums that are better suited to this kind of question.

Ok, Im not sure what they used but will assume they're probably Rexroth... I'd start by checking for power to the solenoids on the valves.... so check with a volt meter for power on the solenoid that shouldn't be working when you operate another function. It should be dead unless you send power to it.
Like I said, I have no experience with that tractor specifically... so have no idea what controllers are used. If it's a simple switch arrangement sending power direct to a solenoid I'd be looking for wires chaffed together or bad grounds in the relay controls. Those coils should draw a fair amount of current at the valves, so it's unlikely that casual current in the load circuit will activate them.
If it has a circuit board controlling everything that could be the source of the problem. Check grounds and connectors.

I think I need a technician to check this tractor out. Thanks for your reply reply! This looks like a can of worms!

Any time...

It can be a can of worms or something simple. Depends on how far you want to dig into it.
