hydraulic cylinder repair

Thanks to the help from a fellow YT er for steering me in the right direction, I am in need of rebuilding one of my loader cylinders on my Massey 240 tractor.
Not sure if I am going to tackle it myself or send it out. Are there special tools needed and where could I buy a seal kit? Loader is an MF232. thanks in
advance.

Reliable aftermarket parts for the kit. Don't know if special tools needed. Case you need a gland nut wrench. Are there holes in the gland? If so you need a tool like in the pic. Called a gland nut wrench.

I have a tool like yours. It's a PIA to use, takes both hands and you need a third hand to insert the wire

I made one using an old adjustable wrench and 2 press pins. Only need one hand.

I go to a local hydraulic shop and buy o-rings I need.
