Gps. Says weak signal and auto steer wouldn't work.

I have heard that a couple satalites were shut down. Does anyone know more. Or how to make it work right again? Thanks

As of May 17 satellite 138 shut down and we were advised to change over to satellite 135. I have not done it yet on my Trimble Ezee guide 500 as it has been too wet to be in the field but I've watched a youtube video showing how to do it.

For some yes but I have no problem following a line working ground. Where I need guidance is when spraying and there is no wheel mark to follow. Overlapping or missing strips when spraying is not an option so I'll use my gps for that whenever possible. No auto steer, just on screen mapping for me to follow. Even if its getting dark I've finished up fields using that screen.

The only guidance system I have ever used is on my son's MF (Hesston) swather. Occasionally it will just wander off for no reason, usually when it is really cloudy. I like using it when we have a 1/2 mile long field to swath and are running 12+ MPH.

Here are the instructions our local dealer published.

Some of you guys can run down Gps all you want, but it does make a day in the field more productive especially for planting and spraying when we are out there for days on end. My Trimble 750 has not lost signal so it must not be on 138. I am going to find out what satellite it is on this morning just out of curiosity.
