John Deere A coolant coming out of exhaust

Alright yall, I just went to start my 1951 A today for the first time in 2 months and coolant came out of the exhaust and onto the hood. It also came out through the connection between the manifold and the pipe going up to the stack. I believe whats happening is coolant is leaking down from the back of the radiator and dripping into the connection between the manifold and the exhaust pipe. I don't understand how it could be a head gasket when the tractor has ran in a few months and the last time it did it did not white smoke of give any sign the head gasket is going out. Today also the tractor was no smoking white either it was running normal. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Collin.

Just got done with a head gasket in my 50 A. Did you have a miss on one side for a while? Another check is open the compression relief valves on the bottom of the block and see if you are getting coolant out of them, will need to crank it with those open.

The Late A's and 60s have a thin spot in the gasket between the water jacket and combustion chamber, head gasket is pretty common failure.

I think that if you were told that you had to make coolant run from the radiator and into a tiny opening between the manifold and exhaust pipe that you would find it to be a difficult task.

I did that today and sure as hell coolant came out of the right one. I also pulled the plugs and coolant started to run out of the right one.
