Antique Tire Size Conversion

Found an antique tire size conversion chart here:

I wanted to know what my Massey 65 power adjust (ramp) rims can take and parts book says 11x28, 12x28, or 13x28. This converts to 12.4, 13.6, and 14.9 respectively. (Interestingly, tractor currently has worn out 16.9's installed though the rims measure 11 wide at bead, not 10)

If your shooting for what would look right, seem right, and be right for the tractor, I'd put the 12.4's on.

If your wanting an oversized tire, and the biggest you can possibly put on that rim for whatever reason, put the 14.9's on, or perhaps look for another pair of 16.9's.
Just remember that the 13.6 and upward from there, are going to be larger around at the outside of tire carcus, and this will be elevating the rear of tractor further off the ground, as you go upward in tire width sizes. As in, a 13.6/28 mounted on an 11, will be a taller standing tire, than a 12.4/28 mounted on the same rim. Atleast that's what I have ran into with 38 inch tires. As the tire width size gets wider, the more drastic the overall wheel height difference.

14.9x28, which is the old 13.00x28, is the standard tire for a regular clearance MF 65 and they will fit and look just fine on a 12 inch rim. I have a 65 and 165 both equiped that way.

Thank-you all for excellent responses. Just got my new rim today.
This A-535452m91 is definitely a 10 inch rim which is supposed to replace the 1751395M92 which is supposedly on my tractor and is 11 inch.
Now I have a 10 inch rim and an 11 inch rim which explains why a google search shows the internet can't decide which is the correct width, 10 or 11, for these part numbers. I don't think they are the same part.

Any ideas other than buying another 10 inch rim?

So I ordered an A-PAR11284 rim which is an 11 inch also shown as a replacement for my 1751395M92 rim for my MF 65. I will be charged a 15% restocking fee plus shipping for the 10 inch rim which wasn't the correct one even though the A&I site claims it is a replacement.
I will confirm on here whether this was a good decision, or not. It seems these new rims have only 4 holes in the ramp whereas my original has 5 holes. I expect I'll need a longer stop/catch than the original https://ca.parts.agcocorp.com/en_CA/c/CATCH/p/1755060M1 due to the larger distance between holes.
